Keep it to three acts. Depth kills demos — show the loop, not every feature.
- 1Act 1 — the loop (2 min): describe how data flows in and the books stay current. Set the frame before you click anything.
- 2Act 2 — their pain (5 min): open the two or three screens for their segment. For an accountant, reconciliation and GST; for a shop, POS to ledger; for a US business, migration and AI categorization.
- 3Act 3 — the payoff (3 min): show a live report — Cash Flow Forecast, runway, or an AI Insights narrative — so they see numbers turning into decisions.
Only demo what is live. If you open a feature that is still rolling out, name it as coming — a prospect who catches an over-claim discounts everything else you showed.
