Multi client dashboard for UAE accounting firms

Once a firm passes twenty clients, the question every morning is the same: which files are on track and which are about to miss a deadline? A multi-client dashboard answers it in one screen. This page sets out what a useful dashboard shows for a UAE practice, how to run a weekly status meeting from it and how the HelloBooks firm console supports it.

What the dashboard should show

Show status, not detail. Each row is a client; each column is a question a partner would ask.

  • Month-end close status: statements received, reconciled, reviewed, locked
  • Next VAT return due date and working status
  • Corporate tax year end and computation status
  • Open AI flags and unanswered client queries
  • Assigned bookkeeper and reviewer
  • Days since the client last uploaded documents

Running the weekly status meeting

Sort by risk, not alphabetically. Start with clients whose VAT return is due within ten days and whose books are not yet locked. Then look at clients with no uploads in three weeks; they are the ones who will be late next month.

Keep the meeting to thirty minutes. Each red item gets an owner and a date, recorded against the client. Over time, the dashboard also tells you which clients consistently cause late work, which feeds into the annual fee review.

Example: a 35-client Dubai practice

On a Monday in mid-October, the firm's dashboard shows 12 clients with VAT returns due on 28 October. Nine are locked and approved, two are in review, and one, a trading company in Deira, has not uploaded September statements. The partner calls that client the same morning. Four clients have more than ten open AI flags each, all from a new supplier the agent has not seen before; one categorisation rule clears most of them.

The HelloBooks firm console

The White-Label License includes a firm console that shows every client's close status in one place, under your own brand, with unlimited firm staff. Each client file keeps its own audit log, approval rules and AI flags. Partner Program firms switch between client files from a single login.

If you need extra columns, such as engagement type or fee band, or a custom status report for partners, request it through hello@hellobooks.ai or on a call at /book-a-demo.
