Yes. Multi-warehouse is a first-class feature — each warehouse can carry its own GSTIN, address and tax registration. Inter-state stock transfers are auto-treated as IGST-eligible movements with the correct e-way bill generated inline. Can I track items with multiple variants and units of measure?

Yes — items support variants (size, colour, lot, expiry) under a shared parent, multiple UOMs with conversion factors per item, batch and serial tracking, and per-item costing method (FIFO or weighted-average). HSN/SAC and tax classification sit at item or item-variant level for clean GST returns.

How does the AI demand forecasting work?

The Forecasting report uses your last 12 months of sales history per item, factors in seasonality and trend, and outputs forward-looking demand by SKU and by week or month. It then ties that forecast to reorder points and lead times to produce draft purchase recommendations — review-and-approve, not auto-buy.

Does it integrate with Tally during migration?

Yes — the Tally Connector works in both directions: a one-time import brings your existing Tally vouchers in, and HelloBooks pushes its entries back to Tally. Many customers keep Tally as system-of-record during migration while HelloBooks Inventory drives day-to-day stock operations, then cut over to HelloBooks as system-of-record when the team is ready. No stranded data in either direction.

Is BOM and manufacturing built-in or separate?

BOMs live inside HelloBooks Inventory — multi-level, with cost roll-up, scrap allowances and substitute components.
