White-label e-invoicing UAE: what firms can offer clients today

The UAE is moving business invoices onto an e-invoicing network run through accredited service providers. Clients will ask their accountant what to do. This page sets out the timeline, explains plainly that HelloBooks is not an accredited service provider and does not send e-invoices, and shows how branded HelloBooks books help your clients prepare clean invoice data in the meantime.

The timeline your clients are working to

Under Ministerial Decisions 243 and 244 of 2025, as amended by Ministerial Resolution No. 66 of 2026, businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an accredited service provider by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027. Businesses below AED 50 million appoint by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027. Government entities go live on 1 October 2027. A pilot and voluntary adoption began from 1 July 2026.

B2C transactions are excluded until further notice, and some international transport and exempt or zero-rated financial services are also excluded. Ministerial Decision No. 197 of 2026, effective 1 October 2026, also excludes transactions between members of the same Tax Group for 24 months from 1 January 2027. Businesses must choose their provider from the Ministry of Finance list.

What HelloBooks does and does not do

HelloBooks is accounting software. It is not on the accredited or pre-approved provider list, it does not transmit e-invoices, and it does not connect to Peppol or to any provider today. We will not let your firm tell clients otherwise, and we ask you not to describe it that way either.

What it does is keep complete invoice records: seller and buyer TRNs, customer details, invoice dates, line descriptions and line-level VAT. That is the data an e-invoicing provider will need from a business. Clients with tidy records in your branded system will find the move to their chosen provider far less painful than those working from spreadsheets.

An advisory opportunity for your firm

Many SMEs below the AED 50 million line will leave appointment until early 2027. Your firm can run a readiness review now: check that every customer record has a valid TRN, that credit notes reference their original invoices, and that VAT treatment is consistent. The AI agent can list customers with missing TRNs or invoices without line-level VAT, and your team decides what to fix.

If you want a readiness report built for your client base, request it at /book-a-demo or hello@hellobooks.ai. Ask us too about our plans for e-invoicing; we will tell you only what is confirmed.
