The case for vendor branding
A familiar software name reassures clients, especially those who have used it before. Staff may already be trained, hiring can be easier, and clients can find help online without asking you. For firms whose value lies mostly in advice rather than systems, this can be a sensible default.
Vendor branding also means the vendor carries the product’s reputation. If clients have a complaint about the software, it is directed at a company they recognize rather than at your firm. Some firms value keeping that distance between their service and the tool.
