Apparel POS showing colour × size matrix with stock counts

Fashion retail is a matrix problem — every style explodes into 30-50 SKUs across colour and size. HelloBooks renders the matrix at the till, prints colour and size on the receipt, and the size-curve replenishment engine keeps your assortment from going stale.

HOW IT WORKS

Every detail, dialled in

Built for the till, validated against the canonical accounting engine — so every POS sale closes the books cleanly.

🎨

Colour × size matrix at cart-add

The cashier picks the style; the till shows a colour × size grid with live stock counts and swatches. Pick a cell, the SKU resolves, the line is added — three taps for a full-priced sale.

  • Live stock per cell
  • Swatch + size visible
  • Three-tap cart-add
  • Per-cell discount supported
🧾

Receipt prints colour + size

The customer’s receipt names the colour (Indigo) and size (M) — not just the SKU code. Returns and exchanges become trivial because the cashier does not have to decode an internal SKU.

  • Colour name + size on receipt
  • Style name + brand
  • Return-by-receipt friendly
  • Multi-language print
📊

Size-curve replenishment

Sell-through by size feeds the replenishment engine; outlets that run out of M and L get auto-suggested transfers from outlets with surplus. No more stockouts on the most-saleable size.

  • Sell-through per size
  • Auto-transfer suggestions
  • ABC analysis on style level
  • Dead-stock surfaced

FAQ

Questions, answered

How many variants per style do you support?

Hundreds. The matrix is virtual; storage is one record per actual SKU, so 5 colours × 10 sizes is just 50 SKUs in the inventory.

Can I tag style attributes (occasion, fabric)?

Yes — custom item attributes flow through to filters at the till and to GSTR-1 HSN summary if relevant.

Does the receipt print swatches?

Colour name yes, swatch image no by default — printer dependent. Logo + brand mark prints on every receipt.

Can I run a "buy 2 get 1" on the matrix?

Yes. The promotion engine respects style-level promos that apply across all colours and sizes.
