Tally
Import your existing Tally company in one pass, then keep Tally current by pushing HelloBooks entries back to it.
What this integration does
The Tally Connector does two jobs. First, a one-time import brings your existing Tally company across — ledgers, groups, cost centres and vouchers — so you are not re-keying years of history. Second, entries you create in HelloBooks are pushed back into Tally, so a business that still files or reports out of Tally does not end up with two sets of books.
Before anything posts, a mapping wizard shows your Tally ledgers and groups next to the HelloBooks chart of accounts and asks you to confirm the match. Nothing is guessed silently, and you can review diagnostics for any voucher that did not move.
What data it reads and writes
Written as sentences rather than permission codes. This is the same access you will be asked to approve when you connect.
