So every month someone exports the statement, re-groups the accounts in a spreadsheet, adds the Gross Profit row the software would not give them, renames a few lines, and sends it on. Next month, they do it again. The layout was never the problem — the software just would not remember it.

Group accounts the way you think
Build your own named sections — "Recurring Revenue", "Delivery Cost", "Owner Draws" — and nest them up to four levels deep. Each group carries its own subtotal.
Custom total rows, no formula syntax
Add a Gross Profit or Net Margin % line by picking sections from a dropdown and tapping + − × ÷. You never type an expression, so you can never write a broken one.
Budget and variance, inline
Drop a Budget column next to Actual and switch on Variance and Variance % — on the report itself, not in a separate export. Prior-period comparison too.
Reorder anything
Move sections up or down until the statement reads in the order your board expects. Rename any line without touching your chart of accounts.

Add a Gross Profit row, a Budget column, a Variance %. Name the sections in your own language.
