1. One subscription, one place to look
Xenett buyers run two tools — QBO or Xero for the books, Xenett for the review. Two subscriptions, two logins, two integrations to maintain. HelloBooks consolidates that into a single app and a single bill.
Xenett is a review and close layer that sits on top of QuickBooks or Xero. You still pay for QuickBooks or Xero. You still run two tools.
HelloBooks is the books, the close, and the review — in one subscription. Cleanup, month-end checklist, audit trail, period-over-period comparison, and bank reconciliation are all built in. No layer-on-top tool needed.
If you already use QuickBooks or Xero and just want a review layer, Xenett works. If you want to consolidate to one tool and stop paying for two, HelloBooks is the move.
Where the two stacks line up, where they diverge, and where one of them needs a second tool to close the gap.

1. One subscription, one place to look
Xenett buyers run two tools — QBO or Xero for the books, Xenett for the review. Two subscriptions, two logins, two integrations to maintain. HelloBooks consolidates that into a single app and a single bill.
2. International tax compliance built in
GST returns, TDS deduction, e-invoice, e-way bill, MTD VAT, IAS, TPAR, FBT — all live. Xenett is QBO/Xero-only and US/UK-leaning; it doesn't ship Indian or Australian compliance.
3. Reports stay where reports belong
Xenett duplicates a chunk of the GL's reporting layer to power its review. HelloBooks reports — Period End Closing, Audit & Compliance, Balance Sheet Comparison, Bank Reconciliation, Aged AR/AP — already exist and the Cleanup hub deep-links into them. No data duplication, no sync lag.
4. Pricing math
Xenett: $25/firm/month + per-client fees, on top of QuickBooks or Xero ($38–$275/mo per QBO file). For a 30-client bookkeeping firm, that's typically $300+/month combined. HelloBooks: cleanup, close checklist, audit trail, review workflow — all in the base subscription.
We'd rather be honest than oversell. Three areas where Xenett is the better fit today.
1. Mature review workflow
Xenett has shipped preparer/reviewer two-tier sign-off, threaded client questions in a portal, and AI flux narratives. HelloBooks has the data layer for all three; the workflow surfaces are on the Q3 2026 roadmap.
2. If you can't leave QBO or Xero
If your clients have committed to QBO or Xero and there's no migration path on the table, Xenett is a working overlay. HelloBooks asks you to consolidate, which is a bigger lift even with our two-way QuickBooks sync.
3. Prepaid amortization automation
Xenett auto-amortizes prepaid expenses on a schedule. HelloBooks ships the schedule report; full automation is in the roadmap.
Migration path
HelloBooks ships a one-click QuickBooks Online migration. Xenett users typically land here via that path: import the QBO file, switch the books to HelloBooks, and the Cleanup hub picks up where Xenett left off. The 24+ checks fire on day one.
